As if Sherman carrying a snow plow marker in his mouth isn't funny enough ...
just imagine Sherm and I walking down the middle of a sorta-busy street while carrying this three-foot blinding neon stick because all of the sidewalks in our neighborhood are still buried beneath two feet of snow (more on that tomorrow). I'm pretty sure we committed at least two crimes this morning before 6am. I don't think dogs are supposed to steal snow plow markers and I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to walk down the middle of a sorta-busy street.
We have yet to see another human being {or dog} out walking since the storm.
We have gone nine times.
We won't give up.
soooo much snow. Yuck! you are brave to go out in it! at least you can be comforted by the fact that you won't lose Sherman in the snow... not with that bright snow plow marker in his mouth :)
ReplyDeletebahahaha. That dog is sooo great!!
ReplyDeletehaha. Love this mental picture! You guys are so awesome. Give Sherm a kiss from me!
ReplyDeleteAww! Sherman obviously thinks "safety first"! Good boy. :-)
ReplyDeleteYou two are such champions and so dedicated to your cause. Find the trash Sherman, even if it isn't trash at all.
ReplyDeleteOh my god you guys crack me up! That's so awesome you still take him on walks. You truly are the best dog mom ever!! And he is the funniest dog ever. Love this!!
ReplyDeleteheehee. Saw the first pic on IG but that second one is cracking me up!!!
ReplyDeleteAaww...he seems so proud of his findings!
ReplyDeletehaha love it!! Love him! SO cute! Something our pup might do!
ReplyDeleteOh Sherman!!!! Love love love him!
ReplyDeleteSherman saw the invisible sign...Free Toys! Gotta love that!!! Looks MUCH better in his mouth! :)
ReplyDeleteHaha I just love the things he finds!!
ReplyDeleteHaha! So cute :)
ReplyDeleteAnd yuck about the snow. Double yuck. Waiting patiently for Spring around here.
Hahaha, oh man. The traffic cone could be a safety precaution walking down a sort of busy street; like those reflective strips that cyclists wear! I seriously think you two need to run with the reality show idea. And don't even get me started on un-shoveled sidewalks!
ReplyDeleteSherman was obviously directing traffic. ;)
ReplyDeleteI think that you're probably fine walking in the street since everyone will be able to see you with Sherman carrying his new toy!
ReplyDeleteI love how empty the world is after a big snow! So many people stay indoors and miss the beauty of it....Of course, there does come a point when you wish people would clear their sidewalks!
ReplyDeletelol...Sherman! He is so funny :)
ReplyDeleteMaybe Sherman was just concerned for your middle-of-the-road safety, so he picked up the snow plow marker. He just wanted to be visible on your morning treks!
ReplyDeleteOh, Sherman. How I love you.
haha. He is so cute and funny!!
ReplyDeleteOh Sherm...you always make me smile. :)
ReplyDeleteHe's so adorable! Seriously, where's the nicer weather at?
ReplyDeleteYay Sherman! This might be his best find yet. Or not...
ReplyDeleteYour Sherman looks like my Bailey! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd you know you are from the South when you have NO IDEA what a snow plow marker is/does! I thought it was a light saber! haha

Ha! Love this...enjoy all that white stuff! :)
ReplyDeleteLove it! let me guess, was he prancing? My yellow lab would have been.
ReplyDeleteOh Sherm!!
ReplyDeletePiękne zdjęcia, zima to najpiękniejsza pora roku, wtedy zdjęcia wychodzą jak z bajki. Obserwuje i zapraszam do siebie
ReplyDeleteHe's so precious - he's just trying to be helpful hahaha. My hubby went to Costco to get a ton of stuff yesterday after picking up the car from the shop and when he got back, unpacked everything and one of my little boys decided to be helpful and break down and shred some of the boxes. LOL. This is the same helpful soul that likes to get in the dishwasher and pre-soak and the same fella that is in the fridge at any opportunity the door is open. So helpful these lovely souls. LOL
ReplyDeleteYou have the cutest dog ever!
ReplyDeleteOMG!! what a funny habit Sherman has!!
